This is a very showy, upright, clump-forming perennial. Leaves are simple and lance-shaped, to 4 inches long. 'Sunburst' bears dark yellow, double flowerheads, up to 2 1/2" across, consisting of ray florets with uneven cut margins, and orangish-yellow disk florets. Grows 20-30" tall with similar spread. Produces double and semi-double, deep golden yellow flowers. Forms a beautiful long blooming clump.
