Garden Astilbe are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular waterg. This selection has large, white plumes held over a mound of lacy, black–bronze leaves. After flowerg, the foliage takes on hts of green but retas a rich tone. Also thrives tubs, or mixed contaers. Fertilize April and June. Excellent for cuttg. Seed heads may be removed, or left on the plant for wter terest. Plants should be divided every 2 to 3 years, early sprg.
