Leaf Detail: Blue 10 1/2in long by 9in wide; bluish green; blade cupped and wavy; good substance. Flowering: Large, fragrant near-white flowers open on 24-30in scapes from mid-July into August. Comments: ENCORE HOSTA; outstanding hosta that combines elegant, slug-resistant blue-green foliage with large, fragrant flowers that are produced earlier in the season than most fragrant flowered hostas; from Greg Johnson.
