Aptly named, it produces 5-5½", russet red-orange (some describe it as chestnut) blossoms with a deep burgundy eye and gold throat atop strong, well-branched and budded scapes. The broad, rounded, ruffled petals open wide to reveal the perfect flower form. It’s even fragrant! A highly attractive daylily not to be missed!
